Deborah L. Petersen received her BS in Business Administration from Creighton University in 1981. She graduated from Creighton School of Law in 1984. Deborah enjoys participating in various roles in the Council Bluffs community. She currently volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association, Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce, and Network Council Bluffs. She is an active member of the Iowa State Bar Association, serving on the Board of Governors, the Real Estate Section Council, and the Title Standards Committee. She is also a member of the Iowa State Bar Association Foundation Board. Her past service includes ISBA Ways & Means Chair, ISBA Scope and Correlation Chair, Real Estate Section Council Chair, and Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Grievance Commission. She frequently presents at various seminars and volunteers throughout the Southwest Iowa community and is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. Deborah is also a certified Farm Transition Coordinator.
